Course Management Support is a small team of Northwestern staff members who provide support services to the Northwestern community. They respond to questions by phone and email, and provides regular training sessions to faculty and staff about the Course Management System (CMS).
Course Management Support is part of Academic & Research Technologies (A&RT), under Northwestern University Information Technology (NUIT). Course Management Support works on behalf of the students and faculty at Northwestern to provide effective and essential tools within the CMS. By working with the CMS vendor (Blackboard) and other institutions within the region that also use this system, the Course Management Support team is able to not only provide support for current issues or questions, but also work to push for improvements in the future. The team welcomes all feedback and gathers data twice a year in the form of Faculty Surveys.
